Changing the PortAssist Manager UDP Port Number: SCO UnixWare
Use this procedure to change the PortAssist Manager UDP port number
for a specific communication agent in the SCO UnixWare operating
environment.
Procedure
- Open /etc/rc2.d/S95mkstz with vi (or your choice of text editor).
- You should see the following command:
/etc/inst/nd/mdi/dgdxb/agent &
- Add the new port number just before the & in the command.
Example: /etc/inst/nd/mdi/dgdxb/agent 2362
&
- Save the file and exit the
editor.
- You must now reconfigure the PortAssist Manager server to use the same
UDP port number to communicate with this specific communication agent. To do this,
