Uninstalling the Driver

Use this procedure to remove the EtherLite/SCSI Terminal Server driver.

When you install the EtherLite/SCSI Terminal Server driver, a Remove script is installed with the operating system driver in the working directory. The table below shows the default location of the working directory in the various supported operating systems. The Remove script is found in this directory folder unless the driver was installed to a different location.

Operating System

Working Directory

AIX /usr/lpp/stsdd
HP-UX, IRIX, Tru64 UNIX /usr/local/STS
Solaris /opt/CDsts
SCO OpenServer /opt/K/Digi/EtherLite/filename
Linux /usr/src/dg/els/drv

Procedure

  1. Go to the directory where the driver is installed.

An example would be: cd /usr/sts

  2. Enter:

    ./Remove

This command executes the Remove script for the EtherLite/SCSI Terminal Server driver. All Digi device nodes and driver files are removed.

  3. Reboot your system.
