Information to Gather: X.25 Configuration

For X.25 configurations, gather and record the following information from your network service provider or your system administrator:

• DTE addresses for each line
• Logical channel numbers the network assigns
• Higher layer addresses associated with each virtual circuit
• Default and maximum frame and packet sizes the network supports
• X.25 version the network uses (1980, 1984, 1988)
• Line speed and clock source
