Use this procedure to install a device driver that you have downloaded from the Digi Support web or ftp site.
You should already have downloaded the src.rpm package containing the device driver, and the Universal Linux Installation shell script, install.sh.
mkdir /digi
cd /digi
./install.sh
(versionname).src.rpm
Where versionname is the name of the Digi rpm driver. An example is: 4002090B.src.rpm
/usr/src/dg/els/drv/linux/define_etherlites
This command will load the driver, build the module database, and start the cdtherd daemons.
chkconfig --add els
