Installing the Driver: Downloaded

Use this procedure to install a driver downloaded from the Digi Support Web site at http://supportold.digi.com. 

Note: The EtherLite module must have an IP address assigned before the driver is installed.

Procedure

1. Download the EtherLite driver to a folder on a network hard drive.
2. Open the program from the folder where it has been downloaded.
3. Follow the prompts to install the driver. Enter the IP address for the EtherLite module when requested.
4. Reboot your system.
5. Verify the installation of the EtherLite module by selecting Control Panel > Ports. The new ports from the EtherLite module will be displayed.
