Changing the Configuration

Use this procedure for Microsoft Windows XP to access the Digi Neo and ClassicBoard PCI Properties page, if it is not already displayed.

Procedure 

1. From the Start menu, choose Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager.

   Note: If you have set the Windows XP Start menu to the "classic" mode, choose Settings > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager.

2. From the displayed list, choose Multi-port serial adapters.
3. Choose the adapter you wish to configure.
4. Choose Action > Properties.

   The Properties page appears.

5. Choose Advanced.

Configuration Options

You can access two configuration options through the Advanced tab on the Properties page: COM numbers and FIFO settings. The FIFO settings are advanced options that do not normally need to be changed. Choose Help on each option’s configuration window for more information.
