Upgrading PortAssist Manager

Use theses procedure to upgrade a previously-installed version of PortAssist Manager. You can upgrade these ports using either the graphical user interface (GUI) or the command line interface (CLI).

Note: You can download the latest version of PortAssist Manager from:

http://www.portassist.com

Procedures

Upgrade: GUI

  1. Navigate to the folder with the new PortAssist Manager software.
  2. Enter:

    3. ./setup

  3. Select which Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to use.
  4. Choose Upgrade > OK.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete upgrading PortAssist Manager.

The previously installed version of PortAssist Manager is automatically upgraded.

Upgrade: CLI

  1. Navigate to the folder with the new PortAssist Manager software.
  2. Enter:

    3. ./setup

  3. Select which Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to use.
  4. Choose Upgrade > Enter.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete upgrading PortAssist Manager.

The previously installed version of PortAssist Manager is automatically upgraded
