The PortAssist Manager server and communication agents communicate through user datagram protocol (UDP) ports. PortAssist Manager is configured by default to use one assigned UDP port number for all communication agents.
Note: The default PortAssist Manager UDP port is 2362, which is assigned to Digi by the Internet Assigned Number Authority (IANA). Although you can change this port number, it is recommended that you do not. It is unlikely that another application on your system uses port number 2362. If this happens, you should instead reconfigure that application to use another UDP port that has not been assigned by the IANA.
