Use this procedure to configure the driver with information about the connection. The provisioning worksheets you filled out during Planning and Preparation should provide you with the necessary information to complete this procedure.
The Dense Modem Control Panel is a graphical utility, and requires an X Window environment to be installed and running. If an X Window environment is unavailable, the driver may be configured from the command line by running dm_admin. See Configuring the Driver: Manual for details.

The configuration utility shows tabs for each installed adapter, beneath which are tabs for various status, provisioning and configuration forms. Fill out the forms according to the information gathered from your telephone company. Context sensitive help is provided for each form.
