Adding EtherLite Modules

Use the following procedure to add EtherLite modules to the network. Each EtherLite module will need its own IP address.  

Procedure

1. Go to Start > Program > Digi EtherLite and SCSI Terminal Server. 
2. Choose EtherLite Config.

   An Add/Remove dialog box appears displaying all currently installed EtherLite modules. 

3. Choose Add and enter the new units IP address. Select the model and choose OK.
4. Follow the same process to add any additional EtherLite modules. Choose OK.

   A dialog box appears, read it, and choose OK.

5. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Devices.
6. Scroll to Digi EtherLite/SCSI Terminal Server and select this device.
7. Choose Stop > OK. Wait for the system to stop the device.
8. Choose Start. Wait for the system to start the device.
9. Close the program.

   The EtherLite modules have been added and the ports are available.

10. Exit the program.
