PortAssist Manager does not start (Windows) 

When you try to access PortAssist Manager from your browser on a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or a Microsoft Windows 2000 system, it cannot be displayed. 

Use this troubleshooting procedure to start PortAssist Manager after installation if it does not start automatically or at any other time when it does not start.

Cause Resolution
The PortAssist Manager server does not work. The PortAssist Manager server runs in the background and it needs to be started. Do the following.
  1. Reboot your system.
  2. Note: The system you should reboot is the one that has PortAssist Manager installed on it.

  3. If rebooting your system does not work, choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Services.
  4. From the list, choose Digi PortAssist Manager server.
  5. If PortAssist Manager is not already started, choose Start.

PortAssist Manager should now start.

You might be pointing to the wrong HTTP port Ensure you are pointing to the correct HTTP port.
