One or more devices don't work

One or several peripheral devices attached to the serial adapter function incorrectly or not at all. The error counts are also high. 

Cause Resolution
The port might not be working correctly. Do the following:
  1. Conduct a loopback test or a terminal echo test to check the connection.
  2. If the test passes and the error counts are still high, go to the troubleshooting documentation for the adapter.

    3. If the test fails, check your cable connections and reboot.
