Using Digi's Diagnostic Program for PCI Adapters
Use the diagnostics tool provided by Digi to help you verify the operation of your Digi
adapter. The
DOS-based diagnostic runs a series of tests on the adapter.
Accessing the Program
The diagnostics program must be downloaded from the Digi Technical Support
web site, then copied to a blank diskette. For instructions, see Creating Diagnostics Diskettes.
Procedure
- Start MS-DOS.
- Insert the diskette containing the diagnostic software in the diskette drive.
- Enter:
A:\PCI\UD-PCI
- Select an adapter family from the list.
- The program displays the adapter base address that was assigned by the host. The other parameters
are filled in with default values similar to the following:

- Press R to start the tests. The tests run consecutively, and pass/fail status
is indicated on the right hand side of your screen.
