Installing the Driver: Downloaded

Use this topic to install the downloaded Digi ClassicBoard Linux driver.

Procedure

Note: Enter the commands in this procedure at a root prompt.

1. Change directories to the same directory as the downloaded driver file.

2. Enter this command:

   rpm --rebuild driver.src.rpm

3. Change your working directory to /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386:

   cd /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386

4. Enter this command:

   rpm -ivv cpci-driver.i386.rpm

5. Change your working directory to /etc/digicpci:

   cd /etc/digicpci

6. Enter this command:

   ./rc.cpci load
