Uninstalling the Driver

Use this procedure to remove the EtherLite driver.

Procedure

1. To determine the EtherLite modules name enter the command:

   rpm -q els

2. To remove the EtherLite driver enter the command:

   rpm -e versionname

   Where versionname is the output of the rpm -q els command. An example of the versionname is els-1.02-1.

3. Follow the prompts provided by the removal program.

   Note: Permanently removing a Digi serial port server may require additional administration. All references to the Digi device nodes should be removed or disabled from all communication program configuration files including the inittab files.
