Digi Neo and ClassicBoard PCI adapters are high performance serial communications adapters that are completely configurable from software. The adapters conform to PCI bus architecture, supporting Plug and Play installation under Microsoft Windows operating systems.
The adapters are available in the following configurations:
Windows dynamically assigns the hardware resources for PCI adapters each time the system boots.
The Windows device driver automatically configures the adapter to default settings. If necessary, you can manually change the adapter's configuration properties.
The Digi Neo and ClassicBoard PCI adapters use the 16654 Quad UART, which provides some enhanced features not available on a typical serial port adapter.
