Uninstalling the Driver

Follow this procedure to uninstall the AIX driver.

Procedure

1. Log onto the system as super-user (root).

2. Enter this command:

   smit install_remove

   A dialog panel appears.

3. Alter the field SOFTWARE name to digidm.pci.rte.

4. Alter the field PREVIEW only to no.

5. Choose OK.

   This prompt appears: Are You Sure?

6. Choose OK.

   The uninstallation should proceed to a successful conclusion.
