Using dm_gui

Use this procedure to access the dm_gui utility to view AccelePort RAS and AccelePort Xp adapter and port information, to reset ports, and to configure modem nationality (AccelePort RAS adapters only).

Configuration via the Dense Modem Control Panel

The Dense Modem Control Panel is a graphical utility, and requires an X Window System to be installed and running. If an X Window System is unavailable, the driver may be configured from the command line using dm_admin. See  About dm_gui, dm_admin and dgdxb_config and Using dm_admin for details.

1. Log in as Super User (root).
2. Enter:

   dm_gui

   The Dense Modem Control Panel appears.

3. Click on  Configure Adapter (picture of adapter) or  Adapter Status (picture of chart) to display or change settings.  Use the online help for more information.
