Reconfiguring the Interrupt Request Settings

Use this troubleshooting procedure to change the interrupt request (IRQ) setting for the Digi adapter.

Procedure

1. Go to Control Panel > choose System > Device Manager.
2. Highlight the Digi Intelligent Async adapters > select Properties > choose Resources tab.
3. Uncheck Use Automatic Setting on the Resources tab page.
4. Highlight under Resource type: Interrupt Request.
5. Choose Change Setting. Note: Windows might not allow modification of these settings.
6. Select an unassigned IRQ setting.
7. Choose OK > OK > Close.
8. If  changes were made, the system will need to be rebooted for the changes to take effect.
