Downloading the Configuration from a Host

This section describes how you download a Digi One RealPort or PortServer TS configuration file. 

Starting Point

This procedure assumes that

• You can access the Digi device's command line, either from a directly-connected terminal or using telnet over the LAN
• The Digi device has an IP address and mask for its Ethernet interface
• You created a file on the system from which the configuration will be downloaded and entered appropriate configuration commands
• You ensured that TFTP is running on the host from which the configuration will be downloaded

Procedure

Supply a cpconf command that specifies the IP address (or name) of the source host and file (on the fromhost field).
