Copying a Configuration File from a Host to a Digi Device 

This section describes how to copy the configuration file from a host to a Digi One RealPort or PortServer TS after the file has been edited on the host.

Starting Point

This procedure assumes that you

• Have edited a configuration file on a host and now want to copy it to the Digi device for use
• Are logged in to the Digi device as the administrator, which is a requirement for using the cpconf command to copy the configuration file to a host

Procedure

Supply a cpconf command with a fromhost field that specifies the following:

• The IP address of the source host
• The name of the configuration file on the host
