Configuring EtherLite for RealPort

The EtherLite module must have its own IP address to function on the network. The standard method for assigning an IP address is with DgIPserv during the installation procedure for the RealPort driver. Listed below are other methods of assigning an IP address, if for some reason, the standard method can not be used. 

1. Attach the EtherLite module to the network. Do not plug in the power cable at this time.  
2. Assign an IP address to the EtherLite module. Use one of the following methods:

• Assigning an IP Address (Temporary): Boot Console
• Assigning an IP Address (Permanent): Boot Console
• Assigning an IP Address: DHCP
