Clearing a Busied-Out Modem Channel

This topic describes how to clear a modem channel that previously has been busied out. That is, it enables the channel to handle traffic again.

  1. Access the clearing function from one of the following:

    Screen

    DataFire RAS PT1 or PT2 (Channelized T1 configurations only)

    Line Summary Screen

    Acceleport RAS 4/8

    Modem Summary Screen

  2. Click the Clear label associated with the busied-out channel you want to clear.
  3. At the prompt, click OK.
