Web Interface Configuration Overview

1. Configure the initial IP address for the PortServer TS 8/16. You cannot access the PortServer TS 8/16 from a browser until it has been assigned an IP address. See the following for information on ways to configure the IP address:
   • Configuring the IP from the Command Line
   • Configuring the IP Address from a RARP Server
   • Configuring the IP Address from a DHCP Server.
2. Access your browser and specify the PortServer TS 8/16 IP address in the address (URL) window.
3. Configure PortServer TS 8/16 attributes as required from the browser.
4. If you want to configure PortServer TS 8/16 features not configurable from the browser, use the configuration commands to complete configuration.
